Board of Trustees

Oliver Stanley
Oliver Stanley has been a trustee of Barnet Centre trustees for four years.   Oliver is a qualified lawyer, whose career has been in financial services.  Oliver has brought to Carers his wide experience as a chairman and director of commercial companies and as a member of charities and voluntary bodies.

 

 

 

 

Diane Williams
Chief Executive

Diane is responsible, on behalf of the Executive Management Committee, for the strategic leadership, management and development of Barnet Carers Centre including staffing,service delivery, finance, volunteers, fundraising, promotion and representation.

 

 

 

Councillor Sury Khatri (Suryakant Natverlal Khatri)

Sury Khatri retired in mid-July 2006 from Export Credits Guarantee Department (a Government Department) having served for nearly 34 years; where he had held the position of Middle/Senior Management.  Sury is a M.Sc post-graduate of University of London.  Sury, wanting to remain active and also to give something back to society, felt he could this by offering his services for voluntary work. 

 

In September 2007 Sury joined the Board of Governors of Dollis Junior School and in September 2010 joined the Board of Governors of Copthall School.  In Summer 2008 Sury joined the Board of  Trustees of Barnet Care and Support Services (a Charity which provides Care Worker support to Carers providing respite breaks) ending as a Treasurer and on 1 April merged BCASS' operations with Barnet Carers Centre. In May 2010 Sury was elected as a Councillor for Mill Hill Ward.

 

 

 

 

Gill Struthers

Gill Struthers  is a retired civil servant who was co-opted as a trustee in 2009.  Prior to that she was a trustee of Barnet Care and Support Services (BCASS); latterly as Chairman  of BCASS, Gill was heavily involved in negotiations and procedures leading to the successful merger of both organisations in April 2010.

 

 

 

 

 

Giulia Cetrulo

Giulia Cetrulo is a parent carer for her 23 year old son with Autism, Severe Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Disorder. Giulia has been with Barnet Carers Centre since 1999 and whilst receiving advice and support Giulia became a volunteer and never looked back.

 

As a trustee Giulia would encourage all parent carers, siblings, partners, family members or friends of a vulnerable or disabled person to register with Barnet Carers Centre. The staff are ready to listen to your concerns and worries; to offer advice and information; to work hard with you and assist you with the sweet burden of caring whilst sharing your commitment and responsibilities. Please know that you are not alone. We are here for you.

 

 

Jonathan Supran

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant Jonathan worked for various international accountancy firms in the City.    Jonathan next became an Investment Manager involved in the assessment of the commercial viability of green field and investment projects, and then as Treasurer responsible for negotiations and liaison with banks and the management of UK and overseas cash resources and borrowings, and as a Finance Director/Compliance Officer of various companies in the City.

 

Jonathan has lived in the Barnet area for many years and intends to continue using his management and financial expertise to support Barnet Carers Centre run its services as efficiently and economically as possible.
