Jenny Manson – Chair
Jenny Manson is a retired tax inspector. She was a carer for her late mother for twenty years. Jenny has done voluntary work for several organisations including Mind in Barnet, Save the Children and groups offering support to refugees.
Illa Pattni – Vice Chair
Illa Pattni has extensive public, private and local authority experience with the welfare to work industry. She has initiated, led and implemented innovative ideas to support people back into work including Carers. Illa has been a trustee since November 2012.
Andrew Sherling – Treasurer
Andrew Sherling is a Chartered Accountant, a former Conservative councillor for Hendon Ward on the London Borough of Barnet and a former School Governor for two local schools. He has been Hon Treasurer of the Mayor of Barnet’s Appeal committee on five occasions, including when Barnet Carers Centre was the Mayor’s chosen charity.
Oliver Stanley was a carer for his late mother, who lived until she was 99 years of age. He was formerly chair of the board of trustees, and is a qualified barrister and financial advisor.
Jenny Goodall is a retired director of social services and has worked with services for both adults and children. Jenny is a Barnet resident and joined the board of trustees in November 2012.
Cllr Anne Hutton
A former teacher Anne represents Woodhouse Ward on Barnet Council. She sits on the Children, Education, Libraries and Safeguarding Committee and is also a trustee of Barnet Borough Arts Council.
Yusuf Gulamhusein was a Higher Executive Officer for 16 years at the Commonwealth Secretariat. Yusuf is also currently serving as a trustee with the Enfield Indian 50+ Association and has previously served on the Steering Group for the Barnet Family Carers Forum. He was elected as a trustee in November 2015.
Roger Bailey is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a director of Premiercare Insurance Brokers based in Finchley. He joined Barnet Carers Centre as a trustee in November 2015 and has taken an active role on the finance sub group. He was involved with Cherry Lodge Cancer Care in Barnet as a volunteer and trustee for several years. Although busy with his job and the charity, Roger feels it is important for those of us who can, to help others in any way possible.
Jonathan Supran is a retired Chartered Accountant with considerable financial and management experience, including spells as a trustee and also as treasurer at a number of local charities.
