Gift aid

Gift aid is a way for charities to increase the value of donations that they are given. If you are a UK taxpayer by signing up to Gift Aid Barnet Carers Centre can claim a further 25p for every £1 donated so Barnet Carers Centre will receive £12.50 for every ten pound you donate. As a registered charity we are entitled to claim back tax on money that you give us. All you need to do is tick the box overleaf, and it will not cost you an extra penny.

 

Payroll giving

Donate to Barnet Carers Centre through your payroll and make a real difference to a Carers life. Payroll Giving is a scheme that allows people paid through PAYE to make donations to any UK registered charity tax free. The scheme is totally tax efficient in that the donation includes the tax that would have been deducted from pay, so instead of the tax going to the Treasury it will go to the selected charity. If you donate £5 a month it will only cost you £4, that's because HM Revenue and Customs pay the rest!
