If you or your community group would like to fundraise for Barnet Carers Centre, here are a few ideas to get you started. Remember it is FUNdraising!
- Fun run
- Jumble sale/ bring and buy sale/ cake sale
- Throw a tea party for the neighbours
- Hold a pot luck party at your house (each guest brings a dish) themed ones are great fun
- Hold a dinner party for your friends
- Sponsored run, swim, head shave, cycle ride (The world is your oyster really!)
- Organise a concert and have a collection at the end
- Organise a summer fair
- Pub quiz
- Take part in a bungee jump challenge

If you are a company
• Consider becoming a Corporate sponsor
• Choose Barnet Carers Centre as your ‘Charity of the Year’
• Give a ‘gift in kind’ – do you have meeting facilities that you can offer the use of or offer staff training
• Payroll Giving
If you are an employee
• If your company is a member of the ‘Give as you earn’ scheme you can ask your HR department to donate directly from your salary – even a small sum can make a big difference
If you are a school
• A non school uniform day
• Hold a cake sale
• A bad hair day
• Support Carers Week in June
