Parent Respite

Parent Respite care is often described in simple terms as a way of giving parents a break from caring for their special needs child, and the children can also benefit from short breaks as much as their families. Care can take different forms and can be provided by different organisations, ranging from Social Services departments, voluntary or charitable groups as well as private schemes.

Every family's needs for domiciliary and respite care are different. Some may want regular breaks of a few hours per week while others may benefit from a holiday break or perhaps every day support. At the same time respite care, or shared care, can give disabled children an opportunity to experience new activities and make new friends.

Night Respite Service:  We can provide a care worker to look after your caring responsibilities over night. They will assist with all aspects of personal care including preparing for bed and getting up in the morning.
