The Arts Award is an award that gives young people the opportunity to receive a qualification in an art form of their choice. For young people aged 16-25, there are 3 levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. On completuion of the Gold Award, young people are awarded 35 UCAS points, which is great for any YAC hoping to go to university.

It doesn’t stop there! The Arts Award helps young people develop necessary skills such as leadership, communication and team working skills. It also helps to increase confidence and gives young people a sense of accomplisment. It is an awesome opportunity to get involved in an art form that you love and learn new skills while you’re at it in a fun and laid back way.

Barnet Carers Centre is a registered Arts Award Centre. We will be running the Award for YACs on the project and doing so in Collaboration with Community Focus. If you are a YAC aged 16-25 and are interested in the Arts Award, come along to our Arts Award Introduction Session on 25th July 2016
