Relaxation Events

Relaxation Day
Pamper yourself and enjoy a light lunch. On the first Friday of each month between 10.00am-3.00pm at Christ Church N12 – a £5.50 donation is suggested.

Relaxation Evening
Take time out and enjoy a range of therapies, from a reflexology session to a relaxing back or neck massage. On the third Wednesday of each month between 6.30pm-8.30pm at Barnet Carers Centre – a £5 donation is suggested.

Join us for an informal, stress free time. Unwind, relax, have some “me time” Enjoy a massage or treat yourself to a manicure


We have a number of fully trained therapists offering a range of massage techniques catering for your individual needs. Run on the third Wednesday of each month, 6:30pm–8:30pm, at Barnet Carers Centre and the first Friday of each month; 10am-2.30pm at a local hall

Light refreshments are provided and we suggest a donation of £4 for the evening session and £5 for the day session

The Theory of Reflexology

The common theory is that the extremities; hands and feet, contain reflex points that correspond to various organs and other parts of the body. Stimulation of these points sends a message to create a response in the corresponding body part.

About Acupressure

Acupressure is an ancient Chinese healing method that involves applying pressure to certain points on the body to relieve pain.
Acupuncture and Acupressure use the same points, but acupuncture uses needles, while Acupressure uses the gentle but firm pressure of hands.
