There are times in our lives when we experience difficult phases which may seem to have no end or solution in sight. This could be especially true for carers who have the responsibility of looking after someone.
‘Barnet Carers Centre offers one to one and group sessions with experienced counsellors. They can help you to reach your own understanding of a situation and to find solutions that suit you. During these sessions, ideas, thoughts and feelings can be talked through in a non-judgemental and confidential setting.
Comments from carers:
"I was feeling completely stressed, I didn’t think I could go on. Having someone to listen and to understand made a big difference…."
‘..It has been such a good experience. My counsellor really helped me to get things into perspective..’
Many carers say that they feel better overall and are more able to manage when the difficult times come.
